I was born in New Orleans in 1966. I graduated from Jesuit High School in 1984, received my BA degree from the University of New Orleans in 1988, and my law degree from Loyola School of Law in 1993. I live in Abita Springs, just north of Covington, with my wife and two daughters.
I have been practicing law for 18 years, and I have been in the court room trying cases since the beginning. After my first five years of practice, I went out on my own and I have been a sole practitioner ever since.
I practice general law, which means I handle Personal Injury cases, Small Business cases, and Family Law, including divorce, child custody and support, community property partitions, adoptions, pre-marital and post-marital agreements, wills, and successions.
However, what I am most proud of is the relationships I have with my clients. The majority of my business comes by referrals from my clients. I often represent multiple family members in several different areas of law.
I believe I have been able to achieve a very solid client base by giving direct specific advice that is best for you, not advice calculated to generate attorney fees. My clients appreciate the direct advice on financial terms that make since, and they prove it by referring business to me over and over again.
